Still unsolved problem... The problem is environment (apache or PHP related) .... I would really like some help tracking this down.

php.ini contains
file_uploads = On
upload_max_filesize = 2M

While they arent around the 50 meg size you mentioned, they should be large enough for a 16k image!

Updated info to help find this one:

When I installed xoops, I initially had a standard "RPM" based apache / php install.

I needed to upgrade apache to 2.x for a number of reasons. I statically compiled php into apache at that time.

I did a test and backed out to the old apache / php combo - and uploads work.....

Any hints? Anyone?

I have a similar image upload problem - I get "File not found" after hitting submit on an avatar upload.

In PHP.INI.... file_uploads = On.... Any other suggestions?
