news 1.4.4 upload folder?

I have tried to upload an image file in one of my news articles, I can choose the file from my desktop but once I click on the "choose" button to actually initiate the upload, nothing happens, I do not get any errors and I have no idea where the the file gets uploaded to. My main /uploads/ folder at the root of the site has 777 permissions, but nothing shows up there. Where should the uploads be uploaded to when using News' "Choose File" feature?

Hello. I created a XOOPS web site for a client who I then gave webmaster access to. Somehow they did something where they no longer, with their user name and password, are part of the webmaster group. What do I need to do manually in phpMyAdmin to get their account back in the webmaster group?

I am having the same problem. I also noticed that looking at the templates...I am missing the "news_block_new.html". When I try and "generate it", I get an error: Selected file does not exist)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion, but Tiny Content and Content (and the other page wrap able modules) wrap HTML, not php. Has anyone found a module that will wrap PHP?

I have written a quick php script that searches a member database (not the XOOPS member DB) and would like to include it in my XOOPS site. Is there any module that will allow me to input php code? I know you can make your own block, but that does not seem like the ideal solution. (I do not want to tie the visibility of the membership search script I wrote with the other modules I am using. I would like the membership search to be as stand alone as possible.

Upload files option on static content pages.

Hello. I am using Content 0.5 for my static pages, but I need the ability for users to upload files (.pdf, .doc, etc) to certain pages. Is there an easy way for this to be done? I would think it would be pretty common.

Hello, I am working on a web site that needs to control how long certain members access the web site (1 year, 2 years, etc). Does anyone know how I can set an expiration for accounts?

I have a similar question. I have added a number f user fields, but cannot figure out which templates control the "Edit User" and "Find User" pages in XOOPS 2.0.x.

/modules/system/admin.php?fct=users.

I have looked at a number of the system templates and member templates, but no luck. Is this documented somewhere?
