Hello,

I just installed 2.2.3, and got it up and running and added the fields for the extended user profiles and I was all happy. Until I tried to register a user account. I keep getting the error:

Sorry, your password must be at least 3 characters long.

Even though my password is 8 characters long.

Help.

I ran into the same problem last night. I have not come up with a fix yet, but it is good to know I am not alone.

At the moment, 2.2.3 is only a RC version - and currently is not really suitable for a production site.

If you haven't fully set up a site yet, you may be best to re-install the fully stable version 2.0.13.1

However - I believe this issue you mention has had a fix, which can be found here

However, a stable release of 2.2.3 is not very far off... a new RC version is currently being tested.

I know 2.2.3 is a RC, but I really need the extended profiles. I'm not launching my site officially for quite some time yet, good to hear 2.2.3 for prod will be ready soon!
