Thanks for the Answers. As correctly pointed out, It looks like there were lots of <BR> in the code. I had to delete all manually. is ther a better and easier way to eliminate the <br> when I use 3rd party HTML editor to write and format the news?

Hi,
I am using XOOPS 2.0.17.1 and news 1.56
I tried to adde a table after the intoduction of the the news using standard html format. the table displyed ok however there was large space between the first text line and the table.
What went wrong. how can I eliminate the space?

My site is currently 2.0.17.1 how do I go about updating XOOPS to 2.3.1?

PS. I did search in this forum with not matching results.

I need to have the users fill in addtional field during regerstration as a MUST field. what are the options.

Hi,

that is basically my problem. After uploading the module, I went to System Admin | Modules but the module I uploaded was not listed. I was able to upload and install few modules earlier but for some reason, all moudles I load do not show up.

I uploaded two addtional moudules under xoops/module but I could not see them when I went to the admin system menu? An suggestion please
