My site is currently 2.0.17.1 how do I go about updating XOOPS to 2.3.1?

PS. I did search in this forum with not matching results.

download 2.3.1 (the latest package - see front page) and read the instructions contained therein. It's no biggie.

One detail not included in those instructions is the use of the checksum files to ensure you have everything there that you should.

I would have benefited from that earlier.
