Hmm, in line 45 in
Quote:

/class/captcha/xoopscaptcha.php

it says:
Quote:

$this->path_plugin = XOOPS_ROOT_PATH . "/Frameworks/captcha";

but Frameworks does NOT have that captcha folder! Could that be it?

PHP Version: 5.2.6
MySQL Version: 5.0.45-log

Any news on this?

Is it templates, themes, or what?

Would be so cool to have a iPhone interface like there is for WordPress.

Hi All,

Let me add my voice here..

1: After having considered this some time, I have to agree that the Displayname does not give the Wanted raised security. At least not as long as the admins or HR department of the site are not able to get notifications when users change their 'personality'.

As already mentioned, I would like to back these initiatives:
- Explain why it's there!
- Make it optionally
- Add notifications to admins (optionally) on change
- Disable the users login for X minutes if login attemt failes Y times within N minutes. Default: 120, 3, 20

2: If people like to make it non-editable right now, you could do many things:
- Make it a copy of username in the register form (Use JS to copy the value to uname on keyup in name) and make it a hidden field.
- Use CSS to make it non-editable on the client side.

And there might be others.

I think the world right now show us that the best way is Possitive, construktive dialog...

Let there be room for us all!

Found it. Either the groups table, or one of the groups permissions tables were corrupt.

Thanks for the pointer!
The URL to use is:
modules/system/admin.php?fct=groups&op=modify&g_id=1

The set the Webmaster groups to allow Admin rights on all modules and save - it's all back.

This was really getting me on my nerves...

Hope it helps around...

Hi All,

Just a small question here...

What IDE are you all using, if you use one - and do you have any recommendations?

I have tried ZendStudio shortly - is that what I should go after (and get a larger monitor?)

Best,

ok in the content module - I'm using the updated one - when I choose 'add new content' - the only position i get to add it is in the main menu - how can I add options to this dropdown so I can add things elsewhere?

Well, if you want to add a menu-item for the Menu Block (I'm using Content's 'DHTML Site Menu'), you have to add a content item with 'sub-menu' checked. It will then show up along with the 'Main Menu' so you can place other pages/links under that item.

Hope it helps,

Hi JackJ

Thanks for the responce - although it's not helping... :-/

I've made sure the script is in the theme, the images/ folder is there, and still no go.

The various modules have notification allowed (both types), but there is simply nothing showing 'inline'.

I can get the Block to appear, but the inline functionality as not showing.. :-/

So I guess the big question here is - why does that part not show up... is it a DB setting that is wrong, is it something in the template system, or something else..
I'm using a custom template set, but have deleted and recreated the system templates that should affect this.

I'm lost, and tired.. guess I need some sleep...
