Hi!

I´ve searched for weeks, but i can´t find a solution. I guess it is a incapability of my host (hostsharing.net). But let me describe my problem first:

Whenever i try to open an album in xoopsgallery with around 200 pics or more, it gives be the Error 500 Internal Server error. Thiis also happens if I turn on the album-tree structure. It also happens every once in a while almost randomly while browsing the site. There is no way to reproduce that.
I think that my hoster has some kind of "limit", but I cannot find any hint in their documentation or faq or anywhere. Also I didn´t manage to find another user with the same prob...
I can enter the gallery by clicking on the image in the "random image block". But i can also not display the Thumbnail overview......

So, I hope someone can show me a direction where to search...

I got a terrible problem! (errrrrr my HP got one, of course)

Since I did upgrade from News 1.1 to 1.44 and played around a lot to get the Spotlight-thing running I´m encoountering a nasty problem. Neither my right nor my left block shows up anymore.

Checked:
- permissions in admin-mode
- blocks avtivated
- tried to uninstall - same problem

My System:
- XOOPS 2.10.13

It ran good the whole time. I think to point I killed it was when i gave the inter-news permissions (eg Who may write / read Articles)

I read lots of Posts and figuered out that there few more users with this Problem.

Anyone an Idea?

Got the same error too. I also cannot provocate this error. The only difference is that it tells me

_XG_ERRORINX [-1] _XG_OUTOFB [40]

Have you got any idea meanwile?

I´m running the HP of a local party community.

Actually I´m using XOOPS 2.10 and yoopsgallery

I used a hack to add photos and more infos to the userprofiles. But after all I do not like it.

now my question: is there a module which does the following things:

- users are forced to use a photo or at least get an "anonymous" head like on ICQ
- users can easily write letters between each other
- pictures can be rated and commented
- simply make my users spending more time on my site


I know this threat sounds funny, and my above features can also be fullfilled by single modules, but I want one for all to not lose the overview. I havant found something like tat, but maybe, someone gots an idea.

hi everybody....

okay I got this damn error too. It tells me the following

Errors Returned While Uploading
Unknown filetype rejected
MIME type not allowed: image/jpeg

regardeless which type of picture i use.

The picture fullfills the specs (jpg / less then 100k) made by myself in the admin´s area.

I do NOT understand why it complains.

I use XOOPS 2.10.

Okay. Got it. The Extension .JPG doesn´t work. it has to be .jpg (small letters)
