I have the latest version of XOOPS 2.0.10 and things seem to be working fine. I have been working out the bugs to let people get around XOOPS internal security, so they can get in and do things.

The problem is this. There are a few that are having problems with images not showing up anywhere. This is a isolated problem, but have noticed that there are more and more people telling me about this, with different browsers.

They are reporting that in the theme they cannot see, the site images, download imagess, no images can be seen anywhere..
is there away around this? is there a way to let cross browsers to see images? or is there a hack that will help this.

ok you have only 2 sub cats i have several below it so mine might be more of a problem than yours is with it only showing the correct numbers

see we have it like this:

Main cat
>sub cat
>>sub cat
>>>sub cat
>>>>sub cat
>>>>>sub cat
>>>>>>>sub cat

there is a reason for it that way to place the different things into special areas of the site for downloads, and to keep the makers of them together and grouped into the different subs below their names

So it would be say ok

Designers 1

subs: designers special

Sub Sub Designer thing 1

Sub Sub designer thing 2

and so on but it goes deeper

when one goes to the sub off the main, there are all ( 0 )'s there, and all the way till you get to just before the last sub main then it will show the numbers

though my partner never responded to your help, that worked perfectly, I wish to thank you for your help

I will have to agree. but in My case we have the module just installed. fixed 1 problem, now this. so I know its not a tables problem. or a install problem. because of the fact it is new

the top main page works perfectly , shows all the downloads under it, so thats not a problem

The problem is when you go to SUB cat, thats there the problem is, they all show 0 TILL you get to teh actual top of the folder where it is located.

I tried to look at the html end of it and there is something there that puzzels me, in the main index, ther is this statement:

(<{$category.totaldownloads}>)

now when you go to the other one and look at the subs there is no statement with a

(<{$sub.totaldownloads}>)

in stead you get instances of

<{$subcat.totaldownloads}>

more than 1 time. so it has to be some reason why when you go lower it will not show. and i have done everyting from un install it to re instll it several times..

Dont feel bad, I have the same problem with mine as well. and I tried to read code till I was crosseyed LOL and you cant register at WF projects cause the system if broke or something no email was sent to let me inQuote:

I definatly am new to XOOPS and was wondering if this has a mod, or hack, or modificatin that will let say staff members upload a image & a zip file all in the same place??

I ask because I have a site where it had downloads, now the thing is I dont really wish everyone to have access to this, and letting 75+ staff into it. is not an option.

so setting up a group would be bettrer to let them have access to add a image of what is in the zip file, and also, the zipped file itself.

I dont see WF downoad anywhere otherwise i would have tried that. and see if that would have worked, is there someone who can help me please.??
