I tried the upgrading but I found a lot of problems. I have only a question:
Upgrading from the 2.2.5 version I had to use all the packages:
2.2->2.3.0
2.3.0->2.3.1
2.3.1->2.3.2b
2.3.2b->2.3.3
2.3.3->2.3.3b
2.3.3b->2.4.2
Can I jump any passage? It is very long and the risk of errors is very big!

Thank You

Hi,

I'm looking for the same.

Others cms offer the opportunity of group permissions with upload to a specify directory and last but not least the drag&drop!!!

I remember that filemanager was quite good, but nobody follow the project.

I'm interested in, but I'm not able to create a module.

I want to create a community where all the members can contribute uploading documents and let the visitors download these documents.

Thank you

Sorry, but I don't understand exactly what I have to do.

I have downloaded the zip file with the upgrading versions.

I find many folders named like
upd-2.0.18-to-2.3.0 (where "upd" I think means "upgrade").
But I'm interested in upgrading the 2.2.5 version and I find a different folder named
cnt-2.2.x-to-2.3.0 (but I don't understand the meaning of "cnt", maybe "continous"?)

Ok, I open this folder and inside I find only index.php file (and the language folder).
So I copy all the files in the main directory and copy them in my site directory overwriting the existing files, then I copy the index.php file (in the cnt-2.2.x-to-2.3.0 folder) in my site directory.

I don't know if it is the correct way to do, I'm not able to find an instruction about the correct operation.

The result is this
Fatal error: Class upgrade_220: Cannot inherit from undefined class xoopsupgrade in /web/htdocs/www.xxxxxxx.it/home/xxxxxxx/index.php on line 20

on line 20 I have:
class upgrade_220 extends xoopsUpgrade

Where is my error? What I can do.

I have tried on a copy of my website so I'm not worried so much.

Thank you for your help.

I've tried to update my site with this new beautiful theme (dreamy of Kris_fr), but the result is this:
Resized Image

I've verified the file theme.html and all seems correct

link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="<{xoImgUrl /layout-soup.css}>" />
link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" title="Blue" href="<{xoImgUrl /style.css}>" />

my XOOPS version is 2.2.5
php 5
server linux

Anyone as an idea?

thanks in advance

Have you solved?

I'm interested too, because the FCK doesn't work efficiently on my site.

ooops sorry, I've copied these from the italian site...

$HTTP_GET_VARS must be $_GET
$HTTP_POST_VARS must be $_POST
$HTTP_COOKIE_VARS must be $_COOKIE

This means that you had to substitute $HTTP_GET_VARS with $_GET and the same for the others...

You must change these variabiles in different files (I don't remember which, but are several), manually searching every variable and changing it.
I can't attach the corrected file.
