Thats not really helping i have the ports and address I need it just won't send but theres 1 thing I think XOOPS is missing that I need for the gmail email its this

Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)

There is no ssl or tls option and I think I need that.

The following From address failed: admin@thed-project.com
Could not send mail to chikenkicker.

I'm getting that when I try to use the mail users page.

so it has to be something to do with whatever I'm supposed to do with mail setup.

I have a gmail domains email adress I want to associate with my site, thing is I don't really know how to work the mail setup preferences, everything I've tried does'nt work, as it stands right now I have email activation turned off because my site can't/won't email new users, i can't get it to email at all, so how do i set it up?

im locked out of my site, i was trying to fix a problem with activation emails not being sent to certain users, so i log out to create my self a new account with a different email address but never get the link as a expected so i was going to log back into my site with my admin account and it says its been deactivated, or hasnt been activated yet, how do i fix this?

ad wf-channel on my site but some stuff hapened to my database and that quit working, plus im looking for something better

so my question is, is there anything like wf-channel i could use on my site?

i went to my site this moring and my text was all weird, so i went to the recovery page and turned on debug mode and got this

i was browsing my site trying to find a good chat to put on there also and i refreshed the page to check one out that i had added and my navigation is gone, header is there but no links

i did some searching for this but can't find it, my host server had been down for awhile when it came back up i and my members are unable to login it says thank you for logging in then redirects to front page and im not logged in

another problem that might be the reason, i can't access my hosts ftp part you think that could be the problem?

well i dunno hat happened maybe i was missing a file or something but im able to lock topics now, so i don't need help anymore
