Long story short,I am using XOOPS for a club site, now, members are required to pay a yearly membership fee.Anyway,I have heard from our club secretary that some of the members have not paid for the next year of their membership,so,I want to be able to move their user accounts so that they cannot access the site until they have paid.
Is there any way XOOPS will let me do that,or,do I have to delete & recreate the accounts when they return?

Hi All,

I am having a very strange problem with my gallery.I am running xcgal 1.1.If I go and look at my gallery the majority appear fine but some appear to have a brown overlay (I can't remember what the effect is called but it makes them look like I've pulled them look like I've pulled them from a 1900 newspaper.lol) and some of my users are saying they see the images in negative. If I view the images on my local system they all appear 100%.

Anybody have any suggestions because I am quite stumped to be honest.

I have also tried running myalbum-p which is what I really wanted to use and it was working on my local system which is also my testing server, but,as soon as I put it in the modules folder on my webserver I actually have to resort to running the XOOPS installer again and restoring my backup database to get my site up again.I don't even get far enough to install in on the server, its just a matter of uploading the files that is crashing it and I don't know why,so,if anybody has a solution to that one I would appreciate it as well.

I disabled and enabled the block.I also deleted the Moderator group I had and recreated it.
I am sure people are just thinking that I should upload what I have that works on my local system,I can't do that because I am using my system for testing out new ideas and just generally playing around and working XOOPS out (thats of course my biggest problem - I actually did what I wanted to do and don't know how the heck I did it.lol)

I am having a strange problem with the Site Info block. On my local system I enable it and it shows the Webmasters,my Moderators, the 'powered by xoops' image and the 'Recommend Us' link.
When I do it on the server it shows everything except the moderators.
I am not uploading what was on my system, just editing what was already on the server (they are both syncronised up to 2 days ago but thats besides the point) - all I did (well at least I THINK that all I did ) was enable it to show who was online and it automatically showed the moderators - anybody know where I am going wrong?

(sorry if this shows up twice - tried to post and it vanished after submitting)

I am looking for a module for the member details when they register. While the default is great I need more information from our members - I want car registration numbers, cellphone numbers (maybe a second number but at least one), identity numbers etc. We're situated on an Air Force base and they want all that info so people can gain access.I have access to the info but don't want to have to call people every time I need something.

I plan to check out all the links, but,in the mean time I have managed to find it,so,for future reference, the file that needs to be edited is: xoops\modules\sections\language\english\main.php

I've just moved my site across to Xoops, and must say I am loving it.
I have the Sections module showing on my homepage, and of course it has:

"Welcome to the Special Sections at
Here you can find some cool articles that are not presented on the homepage."

I'll be damned if I can find where to edit what that says - I want to change it because it looks stupid talking about things not on the homepage that are actually showing on the homepage.Would appreciate any help with it.Thanks in advance.
