Greetings,

Some of the modules have an "update module" link. This seems to be the case for "Smartfactory" modules. Otherwise, it seems that the updates are generally posted first on the developers own site. Generally, the developers site is mentioned in the forums or under "comments" section for that particuluar module on this site. Once you find them all, make a list so that you don't have to look them up again.

Good Luck!

Greetings,

Hope you can help. I'm trying to enable the URL rewrite feature of smartsection. I followed the directions in the READM and got an error. When I tried to get to the sites home page this came up:

Protector: precheck.inc.php should be included just before common.php

The rest of the page was blank. For all I know this would have happened on every other page I tried to get to on my site...

Can anyone help me make this work so I can use the SEO features of smartsection?

Thanks!

Thanks for the response. That is helpful. Does MS Internet Explorer now have an easy way for the user to increase font size? I know Firefox does...

Greetings,

A number of months ago I came across a site that allowed the user to change the font size. This is a great feature for those who can't read small lettering. Is there an easy way to do this in xoops?

Thanks!

Afraid I don't know it well enough to answer that question. Hopefully, someone else will be able to answer that.

Good Luck!

You might also consider using the wordpress module to allow the users to write their own blog.

I haven't done a lot of work on this yet at my site, but my understanding is that Google will find you once you get enough links pointing to your site. Additionaly, these links should ideally be from sites with a similar them to your site. Also, I keep hearing that "content" is king. A lot of effort should be invested into getting or developing good content for your site.

Good Luck!

I believe you'd be able to do this with articles... smartsection. I've not done it, but its a very versatile module. You can create a custom block with a link pointing to the article page...

Good luck!
