Otherwise, perhaps simpler, is it possible to add the comment feature in the profile section, such that comments could be left for members just like on modules?

Please, does anyone have any ideas as to how to implement something like that? Or is it something that can't be done with Xoops?

Thank You

Where can I find the download for the module used for the theme library on this site (xoops.org)?

I need a module with the same features (browsing, popular, top rated etc) where my users would submit some files.

Thank You,
HF

Hey msreality,

First off, thanks for the comments on my thread. I took a look at your site, it looks good, good work.
One advice, maybe it should be more specific or detailled as to what your site is about or offers on the home page. Most people take a quick look at the first page and make up their mind wheter its for them or not.
Perhaps having your "Who is Reenie? and what is Reeniemania?" article on your home page under the welcome box would help.
hope this help

Thanks Xpider, Bender and Gambero!

Yeah depending on the browser and the resolution, it does affect the clarity. I just changed it to make it bigger, it looks clearer now on iexplorer, netscape and opera, I'll have to check on firefox too. At the very least, I want it to be clear for the average user, I'm not sure that most people use such high resolutions, but I might be wrong.

As for the group permissions, I do plan to change it as to allow anonymous more access but as of now since the site just started there's few members and the forum is not very active, so by limiting access I'm trying to induce more registration.

again thanks for the feeback guys.

Thanks J.
I got to thank planetxoops for the fast loading, it really made a difference switching over to them from my old host.

I agree with the link, the reason it looked like this, is because all the links on the website are of this color ( a shade of blue) as set in my css file. There's probably a way to overide my css for that single line in my theme.html file, I'll have to look into that. In the meantime, I made the "Become a member of Holdemfish.com, right now!" all white and added a register link next to it.

Once again thanks for the feedback

Actually, my problem is that under the blue_lagoon theme, the board is completely white by default, we can't see the squares demarcation, no matter if i change the img files and update my cache. Under another theme there's no problem, so basically for some reason under the blue_lagoon, the b_square/w_square are not displayed, it's probably something in the css style file of the theme but i can't figure out what.
