hi There

Yes I know that they could choose the topic themself, But that is what I don't want to be.

For example

I have the following topics defined:

Traveltips
Materials

When a user is in the Travel area of my site the could see the traveltips (I give the subject in an URL from an page with links) and I would also have the users from that page submit only tips about traveling.

When they are in the materials area of the site the could only see the Material articles and then I would like to have that they can only submit articles about materials.

Thanks again,

Frank

Is it possible to submit a news article in a specific topic by submitting the correct URL. I would like to have members to post to the correct topic when they are in a specific area of my site.

I.m currently using News 1.44

Thanks

Frank

Hi All,

At last i found the solution (with the help of Jan of the Dutch support forums):

Change the characterset (collation) of the uname/loginname field of the users table to an case insensitive characterset. In my case i changed it to latin1_general_ci (ci stands for Case insensitive).

Greetings,
Frank

Hi all,

Since my provider updated the MySQL database from version 3.23.58 to 5.0.18 the usernames are case sensitive. Does anyone has this problem to and is there a solution to solve this. It is quite irritating to use case-sensitive usernames i think,

Thanks,

Frank

PS. it looks like this problem:

is the timezone of the user who is submitting the post correctly set. This is done within the userprofile.

Succes,

Hi all,

when sending a e-card with XCGallery 1.1 the card will be received but with no stamp on it...
It looks like that the variable XOOPS_URL used in template modules\xcgal\templates\xcgal_discard.html is empty.

in the source code of the mail i get the following for the code for the stamp:

As you can see without the URL of the server in front of it. so it's logical that the stamp-picture can't be found. Anyone any solutions for me?

Thanks,
Frank
