Email notification for MRBS

Hi, I've installed MRBS and users have been happily using it for awhile now. One feature which users have requested is as follows:

To email booking information to a secretary whenever a booking has been created/modified/deleted. This is so that the secretary can be informed of the event and be able to prepare the meeting room in advance.

Therefore, i believe what is needed would be as follows:

1. In the Admin screen, provide a text field to allow the admin to enter the email address of the secretary,

2. When the user creating a new booking clicks on the Save button, an email is sent to the email that has been setup in the Admin screen. The email will contain the info of the booking automatically.

3. Likewise for Edit and Delete of the booking record.

Unfortunately, I'm new to XOOPS and I'm also not a PHP programmer, I would appreciate it if there is anyone who can help me on this.

Thanks...

Thank you for your reply.

I've set in the General Configuration 777 for 'File Upload Permission Setting'.

i've checked the ../xfsection/cache/uploaded folder. In Windows 2003, folders always show semi 'Read-only' ticked with grey background colour in the checkbox. Each time I uncheck it, after Apply and OK-ed it, it seems that changes has been done. But when I check the Attribute again, it reverts back to semi-Read-only.

When I turn on 'PHP Debug', the debugger shows:

Warning [PHP]: move_uploaded_file(C:/ProgramFiles/ApacheGroup/Apache2/htdocs/cms/modules/xfsection/cache/uploaded/843824.doc): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\cms\modules\xfsection\class\uploadfile.php line 287
Warning [PHP]: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\php5D.tmp' to 'C:/ProgramFiles/ApacheGroup/Apache2/htdocs/cms/modules/xfsection/cache/uploaded/843824.doc' in file C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\cms\modules\xfsection\class\uploadfile.php line 287

Which file should I edit to correct the error?

Thanks...

I've installed xf-section 1.0.7 module on Windows 2003 server and the following WAMP environment:
1. Apache 2.0
2. PHP 4.3.11
3. mySQL 4.1
4. XOOPS 2.0.10

Each time i try to upload an attachment to an article, error message shows:

Update failed.
Filename: test.doc

Error code = 19

Does anyone know what error code 19 mean?

Thanks in advance for helping.

Best regards,

Hi There,

Does anyone know how to remove the 'Xoops News' header and 'Powered by XOOPS link' footer from the Administration Menu?

Thanks.

Best regards,

I think I've finally gotten it resolved. The solution is to create a NAT entry in the Firewall router pointing to the port number used for the new XOOPS site.

kgmetcalfe,

I'm still having the same problem. I'm running Windows Server 2003.

I'm running AVG Anti-virus, have tried to shutdown down but the problem persists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

Any reason why you chose to use a separate OsCommerce installation instead of the Xoopsshop osCommerce 0.2 Module?

Hi,

Being a complete newbie, I'd like to know whether I should run osCommerce on its own website or install osCommerce as a module in xoops? What would be the benefit in either of this setup?

Thanks.

Best regards,
ahooi
