I run a site for a college campus community.
I'd be great to have a module where people could post needs for rides, and be able to look if others are going their way. I'm using a forum currently, but it'd be sweet to have a cool module with a graphical interface.

I figured it out.
Some how the mySQL table got messed up (I think because I installed XOOPS twice within the same mySQL, though with different prefix_)
anyways, I had to drop the xoops_banner table and find the mysql.structure.sql file and copy and paste the banner section into phpmyadmin.
now it works fine.
SWEET!

You know the one that comes up when you login for 5 seconds before going to the site, and when you log out and when you post on the forum or anywhere else.

It's okay for the initial login, but when it puts up that screen everytime you post something in the forum it can get annoying.

I keep getting this error:
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: canusersubmit in file modules/profiles/xoops_version.php line 42
It's not defined anywhere in the whole thing, I think the just forgot.
anyone give me the line to fix this please!

Anyone know how to tone things down on here? I'm talking like taking out the drop down menus, and other fancy bells and whistles.

I really don't need to monitor at all.
ALL I need is for the ___ at the end of the link to be filled in with the users id.
