there is an updated X-IPB module available at www.bbpixel.com

it should fix all of these issues.

I was wondering the same thing. like when a user uploads an avatar, if the photo is something like this:

myphoto.JPG

it will not allow the upper case ext, is there a way to change this?

thanks

how to get ahold of him?

and wow, i didnt think it would or should be that hard to make the forums open full width lol thought it would be a simple fix in the .css or newbb/templates.

thanks

hey, thanks for the reply.

I have the main page of my site at 80%, then when clicking the forums link I want it to open to full width. i would get rid of the blocks, but i need them for the forums. i ahve looked and changed both the newbb.css, and the .css in my thmes folder and cant seem to find where to control the width of JUST the forums.

not an easier way to do this without removing my blocks?

IFRAME works well also, just adjust setting so it displays without a scroll bar.

hey, thanx for the reply!

i finally figured it out, the hard way i think because it says nothing anywhere in any of the forums, about what i had to do.

I had to install the modules of course, set the permissions for each user group in the group settings, and then with ftp, go back and change the (hasMain) in the xoops_version.php so they wouldnt show up in the main menu. then i had to update each module, then create my own links with multimenu. was a pain in the ass lol but it works now, and no other way i tried would work.

thanx
