Hi There,

(I tried this post in other sections but it was ignored so I figured this may be a better place to ask!)

Does anyone know of a really decent freeware CSS editor?
I have been using TopStyle which was great for CSS editing but when the trial ran out I got stuck with TopStyle light which is very restricted and you cant interact with the design preview.

OK, I am a being a bit tight not buying a full version, but I have just forked out for the latest Dreamweaver which edits CSS but doesnt have a preview of the styles.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Rob

Hi tjmichner,

This doesnt appear to be an active forum as noone is replying to our posts.

I use XSAS to develop and customise my themes, I then copy the folder of the theme in to the themes folder of the live site.

This means I can properly test the theme in a private environment before I upload it in the live site.

Cheers,
Rob

Cheers Cerbero,

That Content 0.5 one looks great - an updated version of XT-conteudo is exactly what I was after.

Thanks again!

Hi there,

I am using XT-conteudo as my wysiwyg text editor, it works ok but all the buttons are in Spanish. Does anyone know how to get these in English?

Or better still, does anyone know of a decent wysiwyg edditor that doesnt rely so much on HTML? It confuses users a fair bit.

Thanks for any help or suggestions,

Rob

Just to say that the problem has been fixed,

Thanks to Bender, tripnosis and snow77. As soon as the xoops_session table was repaired the site now works great again!

Many thanks!!

Thanks,

I will try that - presumably this is done in MySQL?

Thanks, I have allowed all cookies but it still doesnt work.

I think it must be something else as none of my logins are working, I have tried logging in on another machine but still no luck.

Thanks for any other suggestions!

Hi there,

I have been using XOOPS for a year as a small intranet, everything had been working fine except today I have been unable to access the administration section.

I go to the /user.php screen, and type the username and password it says - 'thank you for logging in, admin.' but then refreshes back to the main page but not logged in.

I tried to type in the /admin.php but it then says 'you don't have the right to access this area!'.

I have tried different browsers but it doesnt work, and I have tried to login using anothers users detail but it doesnt do anything either.

I am using an old version of XOOPS (2.0.3) on a Windows 2003 server with IIS.

Is anyone able to offer suggestions for things I should try?

I really would appreciate any help - thanks!
