Been experiensing alot of ghosts and trouble lately with my XOOPS.
buglist coming and going, sometimes sending out actiavting mail 4 new users, can`t register new users. Even postet a cryout here a cupple of days ago bout my problems.

I did a local install on XAMPP light/mini-xampp.
last version+ XOOPS 2.2.4

NO buglist, so i will increase the basic security and go live with this local installation and see if things works better then.

Suspect that 4PSA might be one reason the troubles + a blocked php-mailer.

(Why bother getting paranoid over spam when you find medical records and classified documents on filesharing progs?)

Did a fresh install of 2.2 a little while ago, but problems seems like a nightmare.

when new people try to register they get either: "No valid security token found" OR they get "could not register new users", all probably depending on what browser they are using.
Admin do not get any notification on whats happening "out there" Cause mail are not being sent from the site as notifications. Tried ALL diff. mail-settings.

When sending forms (Liaise 1.25) submitters email {EMAIL} or {NAME} is not on the recieved mail. Mail is being sent from admin at sitename.

Searched the forum for half a day without finding one reasonable answer - just questions to this

PHP debug is probably more confused that me, cause theres not anything from there.

PS. Last post i put here, i added notification by email

Guess what? I did not get any email..............

Upgraded from 2.0.13 to 2.2 using the upgrade script

now one of the errors i get is when trying to install Xosc

ERROR: Could not insert template product_info.html to the database.

SQL syntax:
INSERT INTO xoops_tplfile (tpl_id, tpl_module, tpl_refid, tpl_tplset, tpl_file, tpl_desc, tpl_lastmodified, tpl_lastimported, tpl_type) VALUES (0, 'osC', 67, 'default', 'product_info.html', , 1137496798, 0, 'module') Error number: 1064 Error message: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 1137496798, 0, 'module')' at line 1 ( 0.000762)

piCal - missing minicalendar

Installed pical and trying to add a new event.......

when trying to use minical for setting date - it do not show up.
Just a javascript error refering to a line several hundreds more than there are in index.php in pical

suppose I`m heading for Xoops-core

Any ideas???

PS. did not find a SOLUTION to this in other threads

Menu items in Sothink not limited to content (firefox)

Adding a horizontal DHTML-menu on site, and when opening in firefox the items are spread on the entire with, of the site.
Any good ideas of how to fix this problem?

That did the trick!

Another issue i work with is to implement section images to site. used to do it in .js when working with PHP.
since i now can build the entire theme in HTML i figure i can include the section image this way in theme.htm ?????

anyone know how to call it?

Sothink resourcefile implementation in theme

Trying to add a DHTML-menu i used in another CMS, but i can`t get the images activ.

Using resourcefile (menu.js) instead of pasting the entire code at the site.
Files are included in the same folder as the theme and pasted in head and body

Anyone who has tried this? I`m new to Xoops
