actually, i have found that the Image Manager in XOOPS is very bad

i also think that CBB is another option . But actually, i am wondering whether can i upgrade from NewBB2 to CBB3 ?
if do not care about the above attachment doubt,i think newbb2 is perfect for my application. What is the best action i should do now ??

dear all,

i am in trouble with uploading and downloading files attached along with posting.
All physical path for storing files are available and properly CHMOD .
Attaching file process is OK and the file listed in directory with file name/file size clearly (to be checked by FTP) . But when user click on the "download attached file" link in the post , the file downloaded has 0 byte though the file name is correct...
I am so worried about that ,who know what is happenning to my site ? Pls advice. Thanx.

after i had changed LANGUAGE for mysite,my admin module has been going wrong... ..it showed the warning:
Warning [PHP]: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at H:\portal\html\language\vietnamese\global.php:1) in file H:\portal\html\include\common.php line 198
i translated language into Vietnamese and save language files with UTF-8 format
Quote:
define('_CHARSET', 'UTF-8');
define('_LANGCODE', 'vi');


then next time i logined,i couldn't access in admin module though "Thank you for logging in, admin" texts appeared...notice : "You dont have right to access this module"...

Now,i am using XOOPS ver:2.2.3 final
i have used XOOPS 2.0.9.2 before and didn't get the same problem...My Vietnamese translation for ver 2.0.9.2 was very good operation.

I think the file "language/local.php" is the reason but i dont know the solution...

Somebody help me ! Thanks !

this problem is not only occuring in upgrading to 2.2.3
i've downloaded ver2.2.3 Final and had a same problem

i think the exact solution is : USERs-->GROUP--> Anonymous -->Tick Extended Profles (MOdule Admin RIghts row)

hi,all...someone can help me to make a popup menu on 'Navigate thru topics" block ?
This block is showing links :
Category 1
Category 2
Category 3
...
Category 2 has 3 subcategories.How can i edit the code to show a popup menu with subcategories when user move the mouse over 'Category 2' ?...please,someone can help me...

ooohhh...specially thanks to ERZON... ...
Now with your tip,i understood why..I've got the same login problem...i used an URL cloaking for my site (mysitename.net.tf)..this short URL had frames and many members of my site couldnt login... ...
NO frames ..everything is OK...
