Similar issue ... if a user tries to create an account:

"Unable to create account. Please contact administrator of site"

I set up the link to cPanel right in the module, but perhaps someone can pinpoint the problem.

The first e-mail account I created in the admin e-mail section wasn't right. However, I'm unable to delete it. It's just there, showing error. Created a second one, with correct settings, and it works great. Everything works, but seeing the error message on my original attempt is ugly.

You're free to use my e-mail service for testing. Just sign up for an account on my site and your on your way. No questions asked. :) Test away.

Still looking on why users can't create an account. Here's your chance to test the situation.

American Flag header colors (with space for a logo and the banner adds). Perhaps a faded out (or whatever they call that when its in the background) flag or something may work here. (This would replace the blue header area in the standard Xoops). And than a red, white, blue color scheme. Of course, a God Bless The USA or other catchphrase might also fit in a header or footer area, perhaps a flag or eagle here, with room for copyright info.

Ugh!!! I was going to test WebMail FX in its creation of a POP3 account within cPanel. It told me that a user e-mail account can't be created, even though permissions are set to allow it. My guess is there is some hang-up between the module and cPanel. Any suggestions?

I know many message boards and web sites have them, but is there any system out there that requires users signing up to my site to enter a random key/code in when the join (the ones with an image, letters, numbers, appear and you have to type it in an they match?

Hopefully I won't have to go that far, but I can give it a shot. I know that the site I referred to above that uses this module makes things appear without the teaser text in other news.

Perhaps I'll take a look at the template and see if I can modify this even more.

First things first -- AWESOME module!!! I'm planning to create me own 1GB e-mail service and this will work great. :)

However, I have a few issues:

First, and most important, how can I delete admin e-mail accounts? I created one, but messed up. Create a second and it worked. But I can't delete the first one. :( Any advice is appreciated.

Second, do I use the POP or PHP setting? I see this ties in with cPanel, which is what I want it to ultimately do and allow users to create their own e-mail account on the server. How exactly do I need to set this? And, can users check their mail through Outlook Express, Eudora, Thunderbird, etc.?

Third, is there a way to have ads appear in the signature?

Fourth, why do users have to go tohttp://mcclimans.us/modules/webmailfx, but can't go tohttp://www.mcclimans.us/modules/webmailfx? All my modules are like this ... www doesn't work with the modules.

And finally, is there a way to offer a paid e-mail service. So, let's say I want to allow an upgrade to 3 GB (beating the competition) ... can I do that?

BTW ... if you want a free e-mail account ... give it a whirl.

Yeah, I've found that. You have the main spotlight story (which rotates), the two side teaser stories, and than other news. The problem is that in other news, things don't display the way they should.

Bumping this, because you couldn't see the module in action before at mcclimans.us and now you can.

Hopefully you can answer my questions. I don't like how Other News is appearing. And what's with What's New?

Strange!!!

OK ... now why are teasers being shown under the Other News: list.

It shows the story headline, than the headline again, with teaser text.

I want it to look like guitargearheads.com (latest story), than other features in the sidebar, perhaps the banner ad. And than, Other News below all of that.

BTW, is there a way for stories to rotate down the list?

Very nice module ... if I can get it to do what I want.
