Michael,

If you need any help, let me know.

Also, look in the templates and find a layout that you like and then modify it (banner, flash, layout, etc.). That way, all you have to do is install the modules you need, modify their internal layouts.

You could have all this done in a week. XOOPS is good!

Hello M. D.,

You are basically in the ballpark. Would suggest that you use the WF-Channel module for your static pages. You can have the guest to your site be allowed to see those pages and when they join for your services, you can put them in seperate groups, for example, one group that would use your services in your area, and one group for people outside your area. Each group could be given seperate permissions to have access to areas.

Would suggest using a Form module for your clients to send you their requests. There are alot of things you could do with your site.

Under Systems...Click Preferences and then General Settings. Then Change the Start Module under Module for your start page.

Remember to click the Go! button at the bottom of the page.

Wanting to open ZenCart inside Xoops site

I have a client that needs ZenCart for the XOOPS site I am designing for him. Tried the Beta version of the Xoops-Zencart module but has a few bugs and need the e-commerce up and running VERY soon.

Here is my alternative and am asking how I can work this.

I have ZenCart installed on his server....using its own database database. The only connection needed between XOOPS and ZenCart is having ZenCart in the Center area of XOOPS and called from the navigation on the left.

Was wanting to use MyHome module to bring in ZenCart and using MultiMenu to show the navigation.

Any Ideas?

Thank you,

Hello all,

Am making a site for a client using XOOPS 2.0.13.1 and the client wants to use the word "Callsign" instead of "Username". Where would I change that and would that one change change everywhere "Username" is used?

Thank You,

John

I have a client who wants the following:

His company is a clearing house for mattress stores that have waranty issues. The mattress stores each will have different registration keys setup for their login. Each store will have a different form to be filled out and each store will not be able to see the other store's information (form, clients, etc.). He wants the forms to be both kept in a database and emailed to him and each form on the database is to have a status button with it.

Could you tell me which modules I would need to produce this with Xoops.

Thank you

John

Serious contributers needed for Payment Module

A Payment Module with the following specifications is being designed and will be completed in a few weeks. We need serious contributers that would like first cracks at using this mondule. We need people that will contribute atleast $100 US for the module. The contribution will ONLY be used to pay the coder. This is not for profit.

Specifications of the module:

1) Donation Levels
Unlimited Admin definable donation levels can be created that then require the user to donate that amount for the actions attacted to that donation
level to be executed. For example being added to a certain XOOPS group.

2) Donation Expiration
Users must donate X amount every X amount of time or they are removed from specified XOOPS groups

3) Project Donations
Admin definable projects so that a user can donate towards a specific project when they donate their money.

4)Plug-in Style Gateway Interface
A plug-in interface will greatly simplify the task of being able to add support for different payment methods. For example you'd have one plug-in for
PayPal, and another for Amazon, and another for NoCheck, etc...

5)Donation Record Tracking
Donation tracking admin interface so that the admin can view, sort and filter donation records based on Name, XOOPS username, date, gateway, amount,
etc...

6) Various small changes to module to clean up interface and operation.

Need a module so that we can charge for different levels of registration for our site. There will be (1) a free guest level where they will get basic information concerning our services, (2) a Basic Level where they can add their information and have access to a Basic Level Forum and other information, (3) an Intermediate Level where they can add their information, have access to that area, (3) an Advance Level and (4) Webmaster Level.

Would like the payment made through Paypal and be as automactic as possible.

Willing to pay for this module as well.

Thanks

Hello all.

I installed php addsnew 13.08 module this evening and then updated it (like it told me to) with the new version. Now, all it does is check for a new version and the java script comes up telling me that there is a newer version. But when I ckick the OK button, the module tells me that I have the latest version. When I click on any tab, that is all that comes up.

Any help?

Thanks,

John
