Hey guys,

I have installed xoops2 on a system that has php5 and mysql5. Everything looks fine so far but I just wanted to make sure that there are no compatibility issues before I move any further with it. Any details with this should be very helpful.

Thank you

I have a friend of mine that would like to start a dating website. I wanted to give the option of using a CMS like xoops. Is there a module out there that can provide this functionality. If not xoops, any other CMS could alos be a possibility. All your helo is appreciated.

I have created some custom blocks in my XOOPS installation. I am able to see them in the site but from the blocks administration area I do not see the blocks so I am unable to make changes.

Could anyone possible know why this is happening.

Does this simply mean changing the permission to the mainfile.php file? Are there things that should match on bothsides like database name and user name and passowrd. I am assuming I will just copy all XOOPS files over through ftp.

I wanted to know if I will be able to design my XOOPS base site locally and publish all content for a public site (xoops base) hosted by my web hosting provider. Currently I do my updates the standard way which is actually login in an making changes through the CMS.

Thank you much

I downloaded the topics blocks module and I get an error stating "module file not found" when the module is uploaded. Has anyone else got this problem. If so is there a download out there that can fix this issue.

I have searched the download area for the wfchannel module but I could not find it. Could anyone tell me where I can find it or is it not available.
