Thanks! I like RSS Fit...it seems easy to set up...but, is there any sort of option (i didnt see it) or hack that will set the RSSFit feed to trigger google's automatic rssfeed bookmarking?

Ok, I'm trying to set up an RSS thread for my XOOPS 2.0.13.2 site. I use the news module v1.44 but in this case I have only found rss threads for individual topics...I would like to have it just aggregate all news items. I am also aware of the xoopssite.com/backend.php - but for some reason that only aggregates the last 4 news items. Finally I would like to have the rss icon automatically come up on firefox when i browse to my site to allow easy thread subscription. Thanks a lot

Ok I just backedup my XOOPS database and kinda poked through I can still find all the gallery photo captions and news items, forum posts etc....i take this as a good sign, right?

EDIT: And NOW instead of a white page I get this message:

Ok...hmm i just tried that and i have the modules folder back. But still get blank pages. I guess I should also add in that after i uploaded the 2.2.4 i did goto the xoopsupdate.php and all there was was a "Submit" button..i clicked that and got a white page...

I'm going to try and backup my database now so hopefully i wont lose everything. Maybe there is still some hope? Thanks for the quick reply and the help...i'm really mad at myself right now

Hello, I as well upgraded to 2.2.4 and crashed my site. I was upgrading from 2.0.13.2. When i goto my website i get a totally blank page. I didnt back anything up...because I'm an idiot apparently. Also it seems that there are no modules int he /modules folder anymore...hmmm I would assume the database is still in tact because all i did was upload the new files, overwriting if newer. If there is anyway I can recover from this without starting from scratch PLEASE help me out. Thanks so much

I also just noticed that when editing content and pressing "Preview" I can not preview the content this way either.

Hello all, I recently upgraded all the way from 2.0.7.x to 2.0.13.2 checking each upgrade step to make sure nothing broke and I believe it was when i upgraded to 2.0.13 that my tiny-content boxes stopped displaying (checking in the admin module menu showed that all the "guts" (ie. php and html) were still there and set to visible, etc. Also the headings for these boxes are still visible..just not content! But nothing shows up. Any idea of what might be going on here, atm i'm at a loss. see for yourself @ www.jackinscoe.com Thanks for your help in advance!

Ok nevermind the error about the backend page, but it must have been a fluke, because it just loaded. But looking at it, if i just put that page in the href for the firefox tag, will it just display the 'titles' in firefox live booksmarks?

<link rel="alternate" type="application/rdf+xml" title="Olate RSS - Articles" href="/articles/rss.php" />

So I need to add this into one of the pages. Which XOOPS piece of HTML do i need to add it to? Also, I get this error when I try to open the XOOPS backend.
