I cannot recommend the module to you to use. The module XPress (Wordpress 2.0.5 for XOOPS) is much better.

I have used both XPress and Weblog and I actually like weblog better.

Just for some reason when I installed weblog this time - post.php is not working, coming up with a blank page.

I currently have 1.42 but it has some problems. I have read that others are using 1.45 and 1.46 - so I am hoping to get 1.46 (at least something newer than 1.42)

Thanks.

I read on other place on the forum that the module Weblog 1.46 is available, however all the links provided for downloading it no longer exist. Could someone please let me know where I can download it.

Thanks.

luciano, I am not exactly sure how to add this counter to my site, I created a counter.txt and a counter.php (with the php code you provided) and put those on my site. I want them to show up in the footer as yours does, the only way I know how is to add that to THEME.HTML, but that doesn't quite work - i tried it with a statement such as this:

<?php include ("counter.php"); ?>

it didn't work for me. not sure what else to try.

I've tried istats for a hit counter on my site.

I am looking for something different. I don't want to display the hit counter in a "block" I want to display a hit counter at the bottom of the page. Ya, there are a lot of free hit counters out there, but those require you to display a link.

Has anyone created a hit counter that integrates into XOOPS easily that can be displayed at the bottom of the page in the footer?

After checking in both IE7 and Firefox, I am happy with the way it shows up in Firefox, but in IE7 some of the text still is black just as the background - see screenshot:

I am assuming that most end-users who visit this website will be using Internet Explorer, which is why I am trying to fix this.

It shows up correctly in firefox but not IE7, any fixes for that?

erase the files (except index.html) of the file templates_c of your site

I did that already, and just did it again. Still no fix.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately that didn't work.

In content.css I put:

fieldset {color: #FFF; background-color: transparent;}

In forms.css I put:

input[type=texte], input[type=password]{
background-color:#000 !important}

I also tried

input[type=texte], input[type=password]{
background-color:#000;}

and

input[type=text], input[type=password]{
background-color:#000; color:#FFF;}

Still doesn't fix the problem.

You'd need to identify the template being used there and apply a style to them.

i am hoping that someone else might have ran into this same issue and provide some help. I've looked and tried many things and can't find a way to fix that.

I have been designing a website using the Morphogenesis theme as the building block. You can see the site here:

http://s98822910.onlinehome.us/photography/user.php

The problem I'm running into is not being able to change the color of TWO things on "user.php" - here are some screen shots:

Resized Image

Resized Image

As you can see, the words "Lost your Password?" and "User Login" are black just like the background (you'll notice in the second picture you can see the words because I have highlighted them with my mouse) but I want them to be white. I've gone through the style sheets making the other text the color I want it but I can't find anywhere in the style sheets, or anywhere else that will allow me to change the color of those two.

I hope someone here can help me.
