is there a module that counts the number of visitors of the site? I've tried the stats modules but they seem to be too detailed, all I need to post is the number of times my site has been visited.

Hi Paula

There?s a block in the istats module that does exactly what you want.

Give it a try

Yep.....search for iStats2.2 which was released a month or two ago.

I use the hit-counter from that module on my homepage.

Sure, it does lots of other stuff behind the scenes (which I find quite revealing) but you can keep this hidden from everyone other than webmasters.

I just finished installing this. Made the changes to the .css file and the theme.html as described. It is viewable by anonymous/registered users (stats only) and completely by webmaster.

...but I'm not seeing anything increment.

Suggestions?

thanks,
eric

I've tried istats for a hit counter on my site.

I am looking for something different. I don't want to display the hit counter in a "block" I want to display a hit counter at the bottom of the page. Ya, there are a lot of free hit counters out there, but those require you to display a link.

Has anyone created a hit counter that integrates into XOOPS easily that can be displayed at the bottom of the page in the footer?
