Thank you for your reply.

The Theme Changer is a nice module but doesn't seem to have the capabilities to have the forums using the same theme as my site and then have a way to have a second theme for another site using my existing forum data.

Do you know what I mean or should I reply with more details as to what I am trying to do?

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this...but is it possible to have, for example NewBB2, using the site's default theme but have a different theme by passing a parameter to the PHP script so the themes is different?

E.g.https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/index.php?theme=something_else

This way I could use the same forum on different sites (the second site linking to the first)

Or perhaps there is another way of doing this, any help would be appreciated!

Well shivaji, I took your advice and re-did my logo using the fonts from my "Welcome..." image. I kept the Google Ads but used a smaller banner. I also changed the leaves image on the top bar to reflect the season. I made the logs images on the right and left box headers smaller.

Let me know what you think

Thank you shivaji for your suggestions.

I will take them in consideration as I keep tweaking the site's looks.

Hi,

I have been working on my site, tweaking things. I think it looks a lot better and loads faster now.

If anybody has any comments or suggestions, they would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Thank you all for your great suggestions!

I have removed the images from the Recent Photos block which should speed things up.

Can someone confirm that the load time is better?
It would be appreciated.

brash, how did you find out the numbers of HTTP requests my site generated?

Thank you once again!

Thanks tjnemez for your comments!

As you can see I am not an artist but for now I think this theme works for me. I will post back if or when I change it!
