OK. I have looked at the MySQL debugging and I didn't notice anything wrong. The php returned some permission errors and I was able to straighten it out. Thanks a million.

I am trying to get the headlines to work in my site. I have used a valid xml rss feed (I can see the XML in IE.) I have entered that in, but the site still shows up as blank. I have the fopen thing allowed and the xmlparser is updated. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm new to xoops, so i'm lost as to what to do next.

OK... Thanks a bunch. I also changed my mailnfile.php and was able to make the entire site run under ssl. How would I make it so that only my shop module is under ssl? It is a little burdensome on the server to encrypt everything. Thanks in advance,

Joseph Brower

I installed XOOPS without ssl (because my server didn't have that capability) but now it does and I would like to use XOOPS under ssl (at least everything in my shop). I have my certificatee installed and everything that I put under https:// is under the certificate. The little lock is there and the whole bit. The thing is, when I got to send information, a window comes up saying that the information will be sent unencrypted, even though I have SSL enabled. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Joseph Brower

I am currently using XOOPS 2.0.7 and am thinking about installing the multilanguage hack. Is there anything that I should check up on before doing this? I am using the shop module and the tinycontent module. Is there compatability between those and the hacked version of xoops? Would it be possible to set up a site within my site (ex. www.sugarblend.com and www.sugarblend.com/en/)? Would that be a wise or unwise choice? I am new to the whole XOOPS thing, but I love it so far. One last thing, if I make a seperate site, would I be able to have both of them go to the same shopping module? Thanks

I got it changed but it wasn't by having this added. Where would I add this? It looks like this would be much easier to use in the long run. (I had to go in and use vi to make changes.) Thanks for the help.

I can't seem to change the footer. I have checked under preferances in the administration area and have changed it (along with the meta tags), but nothing changed on the website. Any ideas as to what might be the problem. The website is VERY new, but if you want to see it, look at www.sugarblend.com . I want to put some differant stuff in the footer. Thanks.
