I am facing the same problem. My web host is telling me they cannot allow me to use the user nobody. So my XOOPS site has stopped to send mail for activations, notifications, even the contact us form is not working. I tried SMTP and it worked for activations but now has stopped to work. Is this somethig that could be solved by upgrading to 2.2?

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?

Can you share your hosting company?, has anyone find a workarround for this issue, lots of XOOPers will face the same problem.

Can you share the name of you hosting company?

I am having the same issue with mine blocking user nobody. Have you guys find a workarround in XOOPS, is it possible to modify all the messaging functions?

Setting the right permissions (777) in the templates_c diretory and deleting the html files in that diretory solved the problem.

I'm having the same problem, I can see my MyTheme^theme.html in the templates_c directory, if I edit it shows is a old compiled template, if I delete it, I get a blank page. Is there a way to force the compilation of MyTheme^theme.html?

I do have the preferences option on: Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?

I am having a similar problem and XOOPS have stopped to send e-mails to my users, my site is www.latitudemexico.com you can see a small problem with the alignment of blocks. Any clue on how to proceed?

xdirectory - Can't authorize entries

I just installed xdirectory, everythig works fine, but when I submit a post and I try to authorize it I can see it but there is not a save or authorize button.

Does anyone knows if this is a reported bug?
