Hi, i am completely messd up with the blocks. How do i show module specific blocks on the module front page only? Eg. suppose i have the News module installed, now i want the News Topics block(say) to display on the Nws module page but not on the top page, how do i do that?

i tried selecting Show blocks visible in News" from the blocks admin menu, but by selecting it i can't see any blocks of News module, only blocks of System module are shown there. I can enable te News topics blocks from "Show blocks visible in top page" . But by doing so it is visible in top page , which i don't want.

This is happening for all blocks.

Please help

Ok, now i have understood the difference between Templates and Themes. But i have a question, how do you change your default template set? Suppose i have installed the template for ThemeX, but i see that there is a tick mark beside the default template set(indicating perhaps that it is the one selected)

Now, say i choose ThemeX from the Theme Changer, now how is that, that the template set for ThemeX is chosen? Does the default template remains active or do i have to do something to change????

The item there is :
"
Meta Robots
The Robots Tag declares to search engines what content to index and spider "

But what i want is that the configuration regarding treating robots as registered users or anonymous users, i can't seem to be able to find that

Hi,
Once in my admin menu i saw something like an option for treating search engine spiders/robots as anonymous users or webmasters or registered users. Now the problem is that i don't seem to be able to find it anymore, but i am sure i saw it somewhere, can anyone tell me where exactly is it? That will be very helpful

Well, i want to make some forums which are only for the moderetors and admins, i have been able to create private forums, and the registered users are denied entry to it. What i want is that, i want these private forums to be completely invisible to the other users, is it possible? if so how?

After i have installed XOOPS i get a blank page and after i used the debug information, this is what it showed:

Notice: Undefined variable: xoopsConfig in D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\xoops\header.php on line 29

Notice: Use of undefined constant XOOPS_THEME_PATH - assumed 'XOOPS_THEME_PATH' in D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\xoops\header.php on line 29

Notice: Undefined variable: xoopsConfig in D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\xoops\header.php on line 29

I hava another problem, in another host i have installed XOOPS without no problems, but after some time the System module link has vanished, but i can access it by using the path name. the installed modules that i have are Forum, Tutorials and (System).
