Applying patches

Please help. I have downloaded the appropriate patch files as .gz files. I am starting from XOOPS 2.0.2. Now that I have them and have run gunzip and tar-xvf on the file, I have a directory called xoops-2.0.2-to-2.0.3.patch. I am new to unix. Now what do I do next?

Hi all. I changed that line ONCE but can't for the life of me remember HOW I did it! I thought I was in admin mode and edited ... what?

ok. New at this. I have the system configuration menu up. Clicked on templates. Clicked on system LIST. clicked edit system_block_themes.html. Am I in the right place? I do not see theme.html.

I noticed a bug when I was adding categories the other day. On the 9th category, it changed the order of the categories. So I thought I would download the patches and update to the latest software. I am wondering if I have to download them all and install them sequentially, or can I just download the last patch and install it?

My XOOPS board says

category header color

Hi. Installed some forums today. Looks good except that the category header is difficult to read (its grey on black). How would I change the text color so it will be vibrant?
