jenclas, thanks for your help.

I've tried several things before posting again, but I still cannot login, either as admin or a normal user (and it's the same for the users of my website, so, it's not a firewall problem or something like that).

About the blank page, I don't get a blank page. I log in normally, it says I'm logged then, come back to the homepage, but I'm not logged. I've tried to go directly to the admin page after login, but it failed too.

I've tried to repair the database, but nothing change.

Also, even if I can login by a way or another, I'm wondering if visitors will be able to login...
I'd like to be able to login to, at least, write a message to say "sorry" for this problem...

I was wondering what I'd have to change in the database to change the state to "logged".

I've also noticed that sessions tables are different between my two websites (I mean there are 11 fields for the site I cannot login, and maybe 4 on the other I can log). I don't really know why anyway...

Thanks in advance for your reply.

jensclas>Thanks. I went to the FAQ the other day but didn't find something to help me. There is a link who go to a site that doesn't exist anymore (so, I cannot see who to log when I've this kind of problem ><).

I thought I was having the same problem as you, but... it seems different.

From the 15th of october, nobody was able to register on my website and nobody can log in...

I fixed the database and it said a number changed in "session...".

Now, registrations seem to work again but I still cannot login (and it seems to be the same for other people). I can log into my other XOOPS website...

If you have any suggestion, it'd be a great help.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I forgot to say some things...
It happened without I changed anything.

Oops, sorry, I think I wrote my post too quickly >_<.

I've searched the net and XOOPS website without really find a reply.

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.14 and the module is xdonations 1.9.

PHP version 4.4.2
MySQL version 4.1.21-standard

About the part of the code which seems to be the problem at line 35 - 36, it's the following:

include_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH '/class/errorhandler.php';
$xoopsErrorHandler =& XoopsErrorHandler::getInstance();

Hello.

I wanted to change the donation module and use the version 1.9 so I uninstalled old version and install the new one.

It seemed to be ok but I actually get an error when I try to test the ipn:

Fatal errorCall to undefined function: getinstance() in /home/modules/xdonations/includes/common.php on line 36

Can someone help me out?

Thanks in advance!

Hello.

It's not really a question related to "begin with xoops", but it's "begin with modules".

I'd like to create a module with a little game to learn japanese.

For that, I'd like to set a list of "highscore" with the name of members and their scores.

Before starting that, I'd like to know how to verify if a member is connected, and also, the member name (if this possibility exists).

I mean that if it doesn't exist, I'd need to make another system for that *game*.

I think I can do it, but don't know how (I'm not a *skilled* programmer).

As always, I've searched the forums and the net before but didn't find the reply...

Thanks in advance for your reply ^^.

Hello and thanks for your reply.

Yes, it seems to be an encoding error but I don't know exactly how makepdf is working. I just know there is a file called "japanese.php" in a folder called "fpdf" so, there is maybe something to encode japanese that is not used in smartsection when trying to create a pdf file...

I don't really know what to do...

Smartsection / Date of publication

Hello!

Maybe there are some people using smartsection here and maybe you'll be able to help me.

I tried to use the "date of publication" option yesterday cause I wanted an article to be shown at 10PM on my website. But, instead of that, when I submitted the file, people were able to access it.

So, I'm wondering if:
- 'Published date' option is just to set a date but the article will be shown anyway.
- we can set a date and then the article will appear on this date.
- there is a thing I'm missing?

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Hello.

I'm using smartsection and at first didn't wanna use makepdf but finally, I think it could be great for my website.

Anyway, I've a problem. I have japanese characters and they show up as *strange* characters instead of japanese. (for example:
1 ã•‚ã•‚aaAh!
2会㕆㕂㕆aumeet

instead of:
1 ああ aa Ah!
2 会う あう au meet

I don't know if someone can help me with that problem, but your help would be really appreciate ^_^.

Thanks in advance.
