Yes...

However, no sense reinventing the wheel. I remember looking at something once that seemed like it might work, but can't remember what it is.

If others are interested in templates, I could make them, let me know.

Can someone point me to a module that handles external links that will list them in a table-like format. mylinks method of displaying the links is bulky and hard to navigate through if you have a lot of links in one catagory. I was hoping to find something with an initial listing like this (for a sub-catagory):
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Site Name Summary hits rating +       actions     +
Yahoo     everything 9.5 (20 votes) | broken/rate|
...
...
...
...

Sorry about the delay, I have been "away" for a while :)

Are you still looking for help with this package?

Have you packaged the module so that it can be installed? Have you posted the code in a place where I can access it?

Let me know and I will see if I can help you.

"Articles" module hack -- added navigation menu block for easy static content

This is a modification of the Articles Module by Andrew Mills.

I have added a block that replaces the XOOPS main menu and allows you to link directly to articles. The idea is that you can create a navigation system that links to the articles and thereby mimic the behavior of a web site that only has static content. This modification does not limit the use of Articles in any way, it adds to it.

Check it out! Look for the news article with the link to the downloads area.

I would like to develop a module based upon a css layout. I need to be able to integrate my css. How will I do that? By the time a main page gets to my content the header is already written. Also, inline sytle is NOT what I am looking for. Thanks.

I am modifying the articles module and would like to know what criteria makes the xoops_version.php file get included when a page is loaded. If the module is active is it always loaded? Is it only loaded when the module is installed and its variables stored in the database?

I hope you get my drift and thanks for answering.

I am working on hacking the articles module and noticed that all the html for the admin pages is incorporated into the php pages. I then checked some of the other modules on my site and noticed the same thing.

Is it possible to create and use templates for the admin pages of a module? If so, could you please give some code or tell me where I can see some code that would show me how to do it. I would really like to seperate my code from my layout. Thanks.
