This doesn't solve anything... I have phpinfo() giving me the correct output. I have drupal working, I have exoops working. I've tried apache2 and apache1.3 and I get blank pages on both... The page isn't totally blank as I get the header and footer but nothing else..

I think anything would be better than nothing.

Anybody have any ideas on this problem??? I installed e-xoops on the same machine that I can't get XOOPS working on and it works. Also drupal works so apparently my apache and MySQL work. I also installed Apache 1.3 to see if that was the problem and it didn't change anything. I reinstalled xoops2.05 again and the best I can get is the header and footer but no login bar or any blocks. I can admin this thing if I can't log in. I would appreciate any ideas you have.

I chmodded the entire XOOPS directory 777 and now the blank page is gone but I still can't log in. I just get a page with the header and footer but with no blocks... Seems part of the problem my be permissions but not all.... Is anyone else running this on Apache2? Is it worth recompiling Apache1.3 just to get XOOPS to run?

If this were true then drupal wouldn't work either right? On my system I installed XOOPS and I get the blank page. You are saying it is because php isn't compiled with MySQL support but on my system drupal works fine and it uses php/mysql. I don't think the problem lies with php/mysql.

I'm running Apache2, MySQL 3.23.58 and php 4.3.4
