Hi guys,
I received a work proposal which refers to building a portal (extremely "content management" oriented) with 3 particularities:
1) Profiles and authorizations. Example: user A can create a file, user B can accept such file, user C can review the file and accept it, user A can edit again and post it.
2) Documents "forwarding". Closely linked to the point 1, it would be great if there was an "inbox management" with "work task"... something like user B receives the file in his inbox and after the approving the object (or task) is forwarded to user C and go on...
3) Deadlines management. Again closely linked to the first point... user A can create a file within date 1, user B can accept the file within date 2, user C can review within date 3 and user A can post it within and not later date 4.
I guess such customization is too deep for Xoops.
Do someone have any ideas or suggestion about it?

Red, i found that version (2.23) in soundforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/xoops/files/XOOPS%20Module%20Repository/XOOPS2/xRoster/)
Mamba, please don't get angry, i've just installed and tested the module and it still has a problems (ONLY) on Title section:
1) unable to edit a Title. When you click on edit button you can enter in edit mode of a tilte but when you click Update the system shows the following message:
Error!
Title_Editor(update, 1, Title 012, 5) in C:\wamp\www\....\modules\xroster\admin\main.php line 399
UPDATE xb18_xRoster_titles SET name='Title 012', weight=5, active=0 WHERE ID=1
Unknown column 'active' in 'field list'

At the moment i would like to have a section where i can put all members of a team/society. As you said, maybe we can remove one of two. So it would be great to have a something like:
- Management (category1 or group1)
- Chairman (title1)
- Coach (title2)
- Team (category2 or group2)
- Forward (title3)
However, if it is to hard and you could lose too time to solve it, don't worry, i will find a different way.

ok, unfortunately i don't know PHP so well to find a solution, above all if debug doesn't show errors.
I will try to make some random actions, otherwise i will have to run an old versione of Xoops.

Hi all,
I just installed module Xroster (2.3 on Xoops 2.5.4), and i got problems to manage "Title Editor" and " Category Editor".
To be precise i can not create/change/delete a Group or a Title, while i found no issues with Member or Group.
For instance when i try to add a Group, the system doesn't show me nothing (the screen remains the same) while the link on the browser bar changes (http://localhost/.../modules/xroster/admin/main.php?op=Title_Editor&t_action=add)
Any suggestions will be very appreciated.
