What specific options/settings in the PHP and apache .ini files do I need to set do get a gallery module to work?

I installed netpbm but my gallery does not make thumbnails, I am concerned its a flag/setting in php or apache.

Any input appreciated.

It would be SO much easier if XOOPS took a page from myphpnuke's play book. with mpn all you do is drop the avatars in the 'avatar' folder and boom, done. The avatars are automaticly named using their filenames.

Having to import one at a time, or hacking code is a real annoyance and inefficient IMO.

Installed xoopsgallery 1.3.3 and when I do a netpbm test I get the hourglass for a good 30 sec then it shows this:

# You told the config wizard that your NetPBM binaries live here:

c:\netpbm

If that is not right (or if it is blank), re-run the configuration wizard and enter a location for NetPBM.

# We are going to test each NetPBM binary individually. If you see errors, you should click here to see more details

Checking c:\netpbm\giftopnm.exe
Ok! Version: can't detect version on Windows

Checking c:\netpbm\jpegtopnm.exe

_______

then it hangs/stops there.

I have the folder set for 'everyone' permissions

I get a similar issue with imagemagick. Tho I get the 'cant create thumbnail' error.

Hello Richard -

>I can't really sae that either theme is much better than another. There seems to be an almost stereotypical requirement for anything occult to dress in a dark mask. This seems to miss the whole point of occult investigation and interest.

Well I was going for more a spin on the name 'shadowlands' then the general 'occult theme'. But your point is well taken. Do you have a theme you would suggest?

>I feel what's more important is that you chose more suitable graphics for the forum that the default XOOPS icons.

Are you refering to the graphic emoticons? Or such things as the graphic buttons?

>Your intermediate flash screens are still white, This really hits the eyes after a dark page background.

I didnt even think about that, thanks for bringing that up. But on that note, I am not sure how to change this. :P If you have a link or breif explanation i'd appreciate it.

>Whatever you do; Good luck and Blessed be

thanks, BB to you as well.

Hello, I run a Paranormal, Occult and Paganism News/Info site.

I am torn between fiblack3dblue and subblack for the default theme. I could use some feedback on that matter.

Also if you have any other input or comments on the site I'd be interested to hear what you have to say.

Thanks for your time

I installed XOOPS chat but when a member enters anything in the input field, its displayed 1 character per line. for example if user 'tom' types 'hello' it looks like this when displayed in the chat box:

<tom> h
e
l
l
o

I am using the default settings for the module.

Any help appreciated

I appologize about the delay in reply.. food poisoning will do that.. heh

Turning on error logging did not show anything odd.

It took a good 2-3 mins between the time I submitted the test photo until the 'processed' window popped up. The window did not show any errors. But netpbm did not create a thumb.

GD? If you send me a link ill give it a try. Thanks.
