Any way to format the popup window with the description of the event? I'd like to get it the same way my theme is (colours and text) .
Does it accept html tags when inputing the description in Edit Event?

Thanks

I am using the newbb module now (hopefully some kind soul will reply me in my topic about migration to phpbb....) and have some small but "irritating" problems notifyied by the users .

1. When there is a topic of more than 1 page and you are posting a reply at the end... it brings you back on the first page and not on the page you were before replying. Is there any posisbility to change this?

2. When there is a topic of more than 1 page you can change the page clicking at [1],[2]...... link in the bottom of the page. However this is not really handy as sometimes the page is very big and you have to scroll until you get to the end. Is there a posisibility ot put this [1],[2]...... link at the top of the forum block?

3. Apparently it is the same cookie that manages the "read/unread" topics and that "remembers" your last visit.

So either I have the cookie set for a very long time and all the users see the topics they have alredy read "green" and the new ones "red" but their last visit is marked as something like 2 days ago,

or I put a very short session time for this cookie and yes, the last visit becomes almost OK (just 5 or 10 minutes dfference - depends on my setting obviously), but no record about the read topics anymore. Is there any possibility to have both problems fixed at the same time?

4. the same problem with "read/unread" topics happens if you change the computer. Newbb saves this information in the cookie and it is obviously linked to hte pc , not to the user. (In many other forums it is done differently) . Is it possible ot set this up?

Ufff... Thanks for your patience... and hope somebody will reply!

I am currently using newbb forum under xoops, however it has less features compare to other forums we were using before. Thinking about transferring to phpBB for example I just wanted to know if anybody had problems in bringing newbb db (with all the topics) under phpbb.
In other words - if I decide to change the forum module I don't want users to suffer from it . They will get different layout but they should still find all their messages as they were.

Thanks for your comments if any - it'll help me to understand if it is worth it.

First of all thanks both for your replies.

Catzwolf - I hope it will be done in the future! I do believe that this is an important issue also because a lot of XOOPS powered sites are non commercial "team" supported places done thanks to the cooperation of many people. So this possibility to give "limited" administration could be a good solution and a huge help to the site "holders"

MithyT2 - It seems to me to understand that you've found a solution to this problem... but be good to me - I'm just a real real newbe to xoops, this site just "fell on my head" and I have to keep it alive. The guy who firstly made it (also a freshman and not really precise one- I keep finding tons of stupid modifications he did sigh! ) just quit leaving all the project to die. And I can't stand the idea!
So if I understand well and a similar problem was solved by you... would you please please explain this to me better?

Thanks SO much!

Hello, I've been searching on the site but could not find the solution.

I would like to have the Sent Messages box set for the Private Messages. Apparently there was no such a possibliity.

Was this solved somehow?

thanks

I have a group of users that should give us a hand in editing the articles in the archive we have.

However I don't want this group to have any other admin access - only editing the articles.

I left only wfsection admin permission to this group (as Article Management section is included in there). But this give them access also to File Management and to Preferences etc.

I believe the only way would be to put an "if" condition on all the "admin" pages to say

if user is group Archive - no access to this area message.

Is my thinking correct?

Is there a possiblity to define a group in such an "if" condition?

Hope I 've managed to explain the problem.

Thanks in advance

Hello everybody,

to explain briefly:

I have an archive with about 1500 records managed by wfsection.

When I try to go to article management it returns me a blank page (after havine waited for w while; it loooks as it goes in time-out )
apparently it runs too many queries (practically twice the number of records).

This problem was not an issue until the records were about 400 but now it does not work anymore

Does someone know how to fix it?
Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!
