hi

i would like to know how/where to modify the contents of the mail that is sent to a new registerant for activation of the account.

How to add and remove themes

I use to add themes by uploading the theme to the themes folder and in order to remove i use to delete the folder <themename>

But now i realised that if i have used some themename earlier which i have deleted, then i cannot be use the samename again. as when i give the same themename the old design comes up. does XOOPS stores the themes code in db ??? i didnt see any such table ... although templates were there

Is it the cache problem or there is some other way of adding and removing themes.

Wierd Problem in editing x2t theme

hi,

i am trying to edit my x2t theme.. i am trying to just change those links <xoops Faq,Xoops support> in header.
i replaced with my links in the theme.html and uploaded it to respective directory. but then there was no effect.... it showed the same links. then i went into system ->preferences and enabled "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" to yes.

by doing this i was able to see that those links are changed but something went wierd and the whole page settings where lost. the style sheet was no more accessible or something else...... the page lost is desing and structure

as on my part i just changed the text nothing else in the theme. i re varified it. Any idea what went wrong or where was i going wrong

Is there any chat room for XOOPS users on net where XOOPS users are frequent and where the problems related to XOOPS can be talked about.

Somewhere on irc or some chat server. It would be nice if xoops.org has it.

please update me about any such place existing

How to modify system_block_mainmenu.html online

i want to modify the system_block_mainmenu.html online. I went to system -> Blocks ->main mene (edit) -> Edit block (Edit Template)->Edit template file . i can see the code here but after modifying there is no way to save it. can anyone tell me how to do that.

secondly i want to know how to make the forum, news, downloads etc available in Main menu for annonymous. I mean the top page Main menu should show them which currently shows just <home> and nothing more.

hi,

how can i make all the menu options of main menu available to all. currently if anyone logs in then only he sees rest of the options of main menu, otherwise it just shows home option. i want to enable all the options to everyone, that a user sees in mainmeu after login.

how to do it ?????
