Hey guys,

Recently I tried to upgrade from 2.0.4 to 2.0.5 I unzipped the zip file and then just FTPd the whle thing to my Server. No error messages or anything, but in Admin it still tells me I'm using 2.0.4? Was I supposed to install something again?

What now?

Hey guys,
Me again, I recently installed wfSections and I am trying to understand how it works. Currently I am trying to make a menu with main headers and submenus. The mainheaders don't have pages attached to them, the submenus appear when their respective main header is clicked or somehing on those terms. Also I am having problems understanding what articles are... are they just normal pages? If you look at my current HTML site (http://www.abusefein.org.au)see how I've had things in the past, I hope that I pssibly make my XOOPS site similar in content and looks, just updated with XOOPS designs and layouts.

If someone could please explain if these things are possible and how to do it. On the menus as well so far I can only put Modules in it.. how can I put my own headers and links in it?

Thanks

Thanks so much,
I've installed the wfsections Module. Can you please explain to me a bit more about it though. eg What is the difference between an article and a section. Is there anywhere where I can see examples of botha dn their differences?

How do I edit what goes into my menu?

I already have a fully built site...http://www.abusefein.org.au The main reason I wanted to change to XOOPS was to gt rid of frames that I use on my site, and also for professionalism.

I'm new to Xoops.. and am having troubles with the Menu and blocks.... If you look at my site you see that I have many pages and different titles and headings on my Menu. I have found it hard to put my own titles etc in my XOOPS Menu. And also is it possible to make these sections (that are already on my site) into modules or main sections which can be placed in the Menu.

Also, my site does not really have a purpose for people to sign in.. and register.. How can I get ridd of the Lod In menu thing and the User Menu etc? If there are any website especially for Newbie's could you please tell me of them. Thanks

Yep.. I've had this problem for ages too! I use WS_FTP and it works now... thanks soo much. Oh and btw In chmod for mainfile.php you only tick 8 boxes, you need to untick the Other 'write' permission.
