You don't really need either module unless you have many files to show. You can bypass the Play button and autostart the file by creating a custom html block containing your embed code.
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" height="150" width="160">
<
param name="movie" value="http://yoursite/yourfile.swf" />
<
param name="quality" value="best" />
<
param name="play" value="true" />
<
embed height="150" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" src="http://yoursite/yourfile.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="160" quality="best" play="true" />
</
object>

If your looking for a way to upload media files in webshow, you can't. You can only point to media already on your server. Files must be uploaded using ftp client or the wfdownloads module.

The WebShow Module with Jeroen Wijerings Media Player can play your mp3, video or slideshow with superimposed Close Captioned Text for written translations and a secondary audio program(SAP)for spoken translations. The module's catalog provides categories for itemization, a short description area to describe the phrase and full page text area for your extended spelling text. WebShow has several blocks that can show a random, popular or latest entry.

I would be glad to assist you in customizing the module to suit your needs.

Hi,
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. If possible, use the admin panel for single file submissions until I can correct the frontside submit.

News 1.55 by Instant Zero (herve) does all that you ask. If that is the one you are using now, then maybe something is not set in preferences or permissions. Support for news 1.55 is at http://xoops.instant-zero.com/modules/newbbex/viewforum.php?forum=1.

You could modify root/pda.php to show latest forum instead of latest news.

Hi Maydo,
The Liaise module provides custom form creation and includes a file upload element. Liaise file upload allows you to set the file size, allowed extensions and mime type. Files can be sent as email file attachment or uploaded to a directory.

I think I got wiki syntax to work by changing localsetting.php line 251 to false, updating the module in XOOPS modules admin and clearing template_c directory.

The Dictionary module is very old and prolly not many people are still using it who could answer your question.

The dictionary module begat Wordbook module begat Lexikon module. The latest incarnation of a XOOPS dictionary type module is Lexikon as stated above. It's your best bet.

BTW, Shouting in caps will not get you a quicker response here.

Try inserting the adsense code into a custom block with
HTML selected as the content type.

You can put the code in your theme.html, but it will show on every page on your site.
