FTP Client?

What is the FTP Client of choice? I've been using CuteFTP, which I really like, but I always get an error on uploading. Seems that atleast 1 file every upload that fales an upload.

So I am thinking of finding a different client.

Re: Multiple Editor Sites?

Basically by linkable thumbnails (that's my terminology I guess).......I mean in an article, there is a thumbnail that would link to the larger version of the image.

WOW, been playin with that TinyEditor. What an awesome module that is. Just need to figure out if it will do linkable thumbnails now.

Thanks to ALL for the tips!

Re: Multiple Editor Sites?

Honestly, I haven't dealt with the usergroup stuff yet. I've tried several galleries now, so now maybe I am confused. But I think the only thing I have an issue with in using the Image Manager was the lack of thumbnails. For one particular website I am doing, we really need the higher resolution images (1024x768), but I don't necessarily want the larger images in the articles.

Multiple Editor Sites?

For you that have sites that use multiple people for editing, what do you do for article submissions and needing images in them? I'm looking at the simple end user side. I can figure out what to do for an article and images, but what about people who aren't so computer savy, but willing to help with content generation?

Drag and Drop Images?

Ok, I downgraded one of my XOOPS installs to 2.0.15 to see if I could make any of these galleries/article modules work together. I still don't think what I want exists after the downgrading.

So, based on my description below, does this setup exist in either 2.0.x or 2.2.x?

I would like to allow end users (all skill levels) to be able to drag a thumbnail from a gallery module into an article module. Have it show the thumbnail in the article and than if someone clicked on the thumbnail it would take the person viewing the article to the actual fullsize image.

Convert MySQL from 4 to 5?

My hosting company is offering the option to convert MySQL databases from 4.4.4 to 5.1.6 on all three of my 2.2.x XOOPS sites. Anything have to happen on the XOOPS side when I convert?

Gallery Module that works with Article Module

That's what I want........

A gallery module that will integrate (via ImageMananger) that supports thumbnails and links by clicking the thumbnail to the larger image. And it has to work in 2.2.x.

Myalbum doesn't in 2.2.x
eXtGallery doesn't work in 2.2.x

Unless you all know something I don't...........I now have 3 sites that I can't have users use a simple article and gallery module to write articles.

What would be an alternative module for ExtGallery?

IMHO, None...........Atleast for what I want to use them for. None of the current galleries interact well with Article Modules out there. I am eagerly awaiting the day that ExtGallery gets working with 2.2. And hopin that thumbnails with a gallery will finally work with a Article Module.
