My Album/ ExtGallery modules

I tried installing ExtGallery, but everytime I install this module and try to go to the administrator index, I get a blank page. Anyone know why?

I also tried installing myAlbum module, but when I try to install this module I get an error message saying:

"Invalid default value for 'res_x'

Unable to install myalbum. Error(s):"
"Feed the children of the next generation cocaine, LSD, and XTC"

Not trying to install ExtGallery on 2.2 are you? It doesn't work there.......unfortunately. Maybe some day in the near future it will.

What would be an alternative module for ExtGallery?

xcGallery or xoopsgallery

I am using myalbum-p
but its been such a long time they upgrade the module.
I don't know whether its still developed. thinking to switch to other module.

I tried installing myAlbum but I got an error messages when trying to install:

well do makesure the version is compatible.
as far as i know, the module works fine

the only drawback for myalbum is, category organisation, cateogory description and index page interface.

IMHO, None...........Atleast for what I want to use them for. None of the current galleries interact well with Article Modules out there. I am eagerly awaiting the day that ExtGallery gets working with 2.2. And hopin that thumbnails with a gallery will finally work with a Article Module.

xcGallery,xoopsgallery, and myAlbum don't work for me. I can install them, but only one of the configuration options work. For example I can click on the link add category and go to the place where you have to create the category but when I click on create it doesn't create the category. That's how it goes for almost all three of these modules I've tried.

I've certainly had no problem with this with extGallery with 2.0.15
