Draven,

Your site is amazing! Have you developed other sites?

Yes, quite a few actually.

http://www.mobilemarketingcanada.com
http://www.fantasyref.com
http://mockdrafts.com/ (seems this one has been altered and the middle content removed)

No!!! You should seriously consider helping the WF-Section team. They need lots of help, and their vision is for a high-end CMS module. You could contribute a lot of good ideas and code. How's about it?

Andy

Unfortunately, I think trying to convert WF-sections to a true CMS module would involve far to much hacking and work arounds, starting fresh is a better approach IMO.

That's not to say pieces of WF-sections can't be used, but I think WF-sections is to far along to accomidate the nature of the system I invision.

Ok, been thinking more about things discussed in this threadhttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=25208&forum=20&post_id=110780 and have a question for those that may have more experience in using proprietary systems, what is a good example of a true feature rich CMS system? Please note, I do not mean a portal or application framework like Xoops, but a true content oriented system.

I'm trying to get an idea of all the functionality that would be required to make a viable content management module. Not simply an article management module like WF-sections, but something more along the lines like Vignette (but obviously not quit that complex). Only problems is I don't have access to this [Vignette] system, so I need something with similar functionality that has a demo I can use to get an idea of how work flow etc is managed.

I know plone was one suggested in another thread, any others?

I believe ezPublish is a similar system.

Typo3 is far to complex and, in my opinion, not very user friendly.

I suppose Mambo is more along the lines of CMS than application framework/portal.

To be honest, you'd probably choke if you knew how much I charge, simply because my themes take a great deal of time to develop. As for existing music themes, that I don't know.

I have seriously been considering developing a true CMS module for Xoops. As I get into higher end clients, I find myself in need of something beyond what things like wf-sections, and other modules, can provide. I may have to bite the bullet and develop something to provide this functionality... if I ever get the time that is. :)

I suggestest WF-sections as well. Now that they have implemented a lot of the hacks I made to the last version, it's definitely top notch ;)

You can view the older version in action on my site (but the new version is basically the same, visually).

Are you looking to contract someone for the theme, or are you looking for a free theme to use?

Well I just reviewed their site and indeed they have removed all traces of any free versions, which I find a total crock of sh!t. The damn thing was founded to be a free BB board and now the greedy little &*^%$$ want money for it. They even go as far as to say you can't even talk about the software on their forums (regarding why it is pay and no longer free) cause they'll instantly remove it.

Well I hope they tank and people move to other FREE bb's like PHPBB.

Sorry, just really pisses me off to see something that was great, and supported by the community, suddenly get greedy and charge.

Something probably broke when you installed the hack and your real passed isn't being converted to the hash one for verification. It's just trying to check the real password against the stored hash mark.

If your going to steal my theme, which is COPYRIGHTED, atleast have the common sense to remove links and MY metatags from the source code.

Since I can't find your e-mail address I'm formally warning you here. Remove my copyrighted images from your site. Next time you want to use someone's theme, have the decency to ask their permission. Or atleast try to recreate it yourself, not just steal their hard work.
