Resort to basics, then - clear browser cache, delete cookies, restart browser.

Update the module in administration menu, set preferences to update template files. Turn off the module cache for the gallery.

You could have a corrupt file in the module...re-upload if none of the above helps.

Any PHP debug messages?

I'm running out of options.

Only with Safari? Sounds like a browser issue...I know people who complain about this and Safari. They usually get the page when they reload/refresh. One person in particular said she needed to enter the page twice every time to get it to work.

I couldn't find 'setlocale' in any XOOPS file, but did some research at the PHP website - your server needs to support the setlocale function for it to work. See this link.

Find Users bug - number of posts greater than x

When I search for users whose posts are greater than 0, all users are returned (even those with 0 posts). When I search for users whose posts are greater than 1, only those whose number of posts are truly greater than 1 are returned.

(on a related note: when I searched the forums for 'find users' and selected a forum to search, all matching topics in all forums were returned, not just the selected forum)

Take a look at your mainfile.php - your XOOPS URL is there.

The most stringent authentication happens as information is about to be inserted into the XOOPS database. Troubles from a particular PC usually point to firewall issues. The only thing I can recommend he try is adding your site to his list of trusted sites (Internet Explorer) or in his firewall (if he can)

First, check out XOOPS FAQ - there is an entire section on getting started.

For theme customization, it may be easier to find one close to what you want in the Themes Library, then copy it and change the logo graphics. Several themes include instructions for this.

Decide which modules you will be using, then make sure they are installed (Administration Menu -> System -> Modules). Each module will have its own things that will need to be customized for your site.

If you are using NewBB2, there is a stylesheet in the newbb folder (newbb.css) that sets its own theme. I commented out most of that stylesheet, and added some of the selectors to my theme -

td#centercolumn th, li.newbb_folder, .bg3

The redirect page is edited under Administration -> System -> Templates -> System (select your active template) -> system_redirect.html.
