AFAIK, it's impossible directly (without big headache).
You have to upgrade to first v.2 release and over all versions simultaneously - to 2.0.9.

GPLed XNAME (www.xname.org, source.xname.org) is Web-interface for managing DNS-zones (PHP-frontend, MySQL +(some scripts)- as backend).
It have now possibility to separate user's info from zone's info, thus - I suppose, using XOOPS user's management will not be impossible, and converting frontent into module - also...

Can anybody have interests in converting devcounter (devcounter.berlios.de) into XOOPS module?! Or, maybe, creating module with same functionality (or modify existing)
DevCounter is listing of developers (with their skills, experience, knownledge, languages) and projects, where
- developers can search projects of interests (or simply have actual up=to-date own listing)
- developers can be found (for different reasons), according to needed criterias

This way I'll lost main reason for integrating real menu instead of static links - dynamic nature of menus

Sometimes I wanted add "User Menu" (or Main) into theme (instead of hardcoded links) as additional header toolbar, but... Cipy block content and get nothing
