for the mimetype, click on the mime types, and ensure the file type you are uploading is "Allowed."

I think you are not seeing the correct category names because maybe there is not a language file installed for whatever your default language is...

Try to change your language to English and see if the category names appear.

Its not exactly a module, but an inherent feature to the XOOPS system. If you check your administration panel, in the System Admin icon, select "blocks", you'll see all the different ones available to the system. When you click on a block to edit it, The block administration page will come up. On this page, you'll see a "Visible In" category, with a list of all the pages on your XOOPS portal. Hold down the CTL button to select which pages the block you are editing should appear in.

You'll also want to make sure your groups have access rights to the block. Check System Admin | Groups to view module/block permissions.

Hope that helps.

I read that this is a known issue earlier today. Can't remember where, but I think it has already been fixed in the cvs.

I would post this into the check WF-PROJECTSforums.

The wf-projects team are very good at supporting help requests when they are submitted to thier site forums.

Have you looked into the available documentation. There is a step by step guide for module development in the Documentation section.

Also, do you need to full capabilities of a "module", or are you just trying to display some html within the XOOPS system?

NewBB2 - Module Update Sends Blocks Back To Default

Im not sure if these are bugs or not; these issues may be attributed to my upgrade path. Newbb to nwebb_rc1, newbb_rc1 to Newbb2.
If these are genuine bugs, let me know and I'll post them into the proper forum.

When I update the Forum module from the Sys Admin panel, my blocks:
"Recent Forum Topics, Most Viewed Topics, Most Active Forum Topics" all set themselves to the default values for the "Display Post Count" and "Allowed In Forum List".

Also, the "Allowed In Forum List" shows forums that I have deleted in the past. One was leftover from the upgrade from the newbb1.0 to the newbb_rc1, and the other one is leftover from the update from newbbrc1 to newbb2.

There is a specific error message that I get when I add a forum number to the "Allowed In Forum List" that has previously been deleted. "Failed To Clear Forum cache block id=14. (Which is the current block Im editing.

I've cleared the cache, and updated my system module a few times now. The "ghost" forums still apear, and updating the forum module seems to have no effect to fixing it.

Hi Speed,
no, im using the default template set. The only thing different about my default theme is Im using an 'include()' to insert some java script that creates a nav bar at the top of my sight. Maybe something is getting goofed up there and rippling down to effect the newbb menus.
