Can you please copy and paste the error message you get?
(there is no screenshot for that in your initial posting. c&p would be better anyway as it doesn´t take as much space in the db)
I would suspect you just get a different mimetype reported as those provided for the extension .jpeg by now.
For example:
If you edit the Mimesettings for .jpg you might see those already in there:

image/jpeg image/jpg image/jpe_ image/pjpeg
image/vnd.swiftview-jpeg
Now in the error message it might tell you for example the mimetype is
image/whatever which is not yet in there. So you would have to edit the mimetype settings for .jpeg and just add this one into the box with the other ones. Just make sure there is one emptyspace before typing it after the last one already in there.
Hope this is the cause otherwise i need more information.
