Really great! I really like it and will test It soon!
Mith's idea is great as well. Perhaps the next version include the mith's idea that would be perfect and I'm sure no other cms can beat that.
I also have an Idea!
HAve you ever noticed that why all XOOPS websites look so similar even when we use totally new themes?
Well, just look into the page and you'll see all the blocks have the same headers, same formats and so on.
So what I suggest is that, there should be an option like block_title_header_value , if the option is set to "one" then the header of the block will be displayed, if it is set to "zero" it will not be displayed. This makes alot of difference in the websites layout, as there will be no need to have multiple blocks with the same design. Also if we can somehow make these headers look different from one another that would be good too. So what I suggest, again, is that we place a special field in the blocks page so that we can set a specific color for that block's header or specific image for it!
I hope these suggestions will be applied in the next release!
Thanks in advance!

If you can change the background of the content that would be great since it is difficult to read the text! otherwise, anything else is perfect!

Hi,
Although, XOOPS has a very very powerful search engine, I think it is really needed to upgrade it to a newer one. In fact, If we can implant some more features such as searching in certain topics or forums, or adding "And" and "Or" functions, that would be great!
Thanks in advance for developing this idea!

Hi Mith! Thanks alot for the Great Multi Site hack!
I really apperciate your hard work for this!
I'm just wondering how can I make this work.
I would be pleased if you caould just tell me what should I do!
I am using Xsas as my localhost server and I did the following:
1. I created a website using 2.23
2. I copied the patched files in your package to the main website files.
3. I installed the site module
4. I added a website to the module with the following information:

Quote:

Nevertheless, all I get is a blank page in site module index page (in the administration area).
Also, when I try to reach the new website, the website gets redirected to the administration area of site module.
I also tried to replace Xoops_URl with XOOPS_RESCUE_URL
and this only messes up the whole page!
I do not know what to do next!
Thanks alot! I know that this might be really boring for you to explain, but I'm sure there are many people who ahve problems as well as me!
Thanks In advance for answering!

Ok from the links in the website dndon.com, I can see that this website is no longer Supporting XOOPS users. It is a photoshop teaching website now! Please remove this website from local Support Sites page!<Edit> Apparently this website is already removed from the list! My bad! Nothing to worry about!</Edit>
Thanks in advance!

It is really harsh to see a XOOPS "Official" support site webmaster forces his/her users to include banners and advertisment in their website.
As for dndnon.com supporting other CMS: I do not speak arabic, But I have seen dndon.com support other CMSes as well but long time a go, not sure about now, though.
I believe if dndon.com is actually forcing others to include banners, I guess it's not just right to call this site OFFICIAL XOOPS SUPPORT SITE. In fact, if it is also promoting other CMSes as well, then by forcing people include banners, it is making people leave Xoops. Thus, this site should not be called Official at all(If that's the reason people are banned.).
I have seen some Persian Support sites of other CMSes doing the same with their people, and I always have tried to make them not to.
Anyway, I just want to claim that I can help with creating some rules and a guide for official Suuport Sites to follow!
This issue is really bugning me, and when I see such websites try to make money out of an opensource program and they try to force users to follow what they want for just a few number of files that they have translated, I really hate being Open source. I mean come on, translating a cms is nothing but translating words and phrases using dictionary , and every one can do that. If I were the user, I would rather do the translation myself and would not even bother asking them for translation!
Anyway, to much talk!
Have fun!
