Weird, because I did not see any problem on the site nor anyone as reported it... And we usually have at least 1 or 2 posts each days. Can you access it today ?

My fear is that at one point in the future the ML module ceases to support upcoming XOOPS versions.... You see, I have been trying to connect to the smartfactory page for 2 days and the site is down...

The SmartFactory has been supporting XOOPS ML for over a year now and we release a new version of the hack usually hours after the official XOOPS release

We are also working on an improved version of this hack, to make it more easy to configure. Moreover, we are planning an implementation of a real ML feature without any language tags ) and with a real tranlsation workflow.

So I would say ML is still on the top of our priorities and we will still be developing it in the futur

Hope this helps !

Cheers !

Hi !

For sure, an export function from xHelp to SmartFAQ would be great ! In fact, this has been in the air for quite a while now . And if I'm not mistaken, the xHelp team plan to do somethig about it.

The important thing here is to develop a class betweern both module that would not be affected (or the least pssible) by the ugrade of both modules.

I think the first step would be to discuss with the xHelp team to see if they plan to do that in a near futur. If they are, there is no point (IMO) to develop this ourselves.

I'll send a mail to ackbar to have his thought on the subject.

Cheers !

Hey !

No, I didn't receive the latest unreleased versions of both modules. Didn't know you wanted to send them

Allow me to quote my own signature :

I sent you the links to the newer versions by email.

why not create an imagemap-upload right into the smart... module itself?

For many reason, one of them being the recommendation of the man who won 3 awards today !

But basically, all uploaded files should go inside the XOOPS upload folder since it is always CHMOD properly.

Cheers !

Hi Shine,

I thought I sent you the new (unreleased) versions of SmartClient and SmartPartner. I must be wrong because the new versions do not use images/smartclient folder but upload/smartclient/.

Uploading directly in the images folder was causing problems... This is why the new version uploads in the upload folder of XOOPS.

Could you tell me what version of SmartClient you are using ?

Thanks !

Hi Chipmunk !

You will need to edit the file smartfaq/template/smartfaq_singlefaq.html.

You will need to comment out the lines 13-15. You can do it by replacing these lines :
<div class="sf_faq_head_who">
                    <{
$faq.who_when}> (<{$faq.counter}> <{$lang_reads}>)
                </
div>

With this :
<!-- Commenting out the line about posters name

<div class="sf_faq_head_who">
                   <{
$faq.who_when}> (<{$faq.counter}> <{$lang_reads}>)
                </
div>
                -->

Then, simply update the module via System Admin > Modules > SmartFAQ > Update.

Hope this helps !

Cheers !
