Is there anyone who has these modlues installed on a windows-server and/or phpversion 5.x ?
Because these 2 modules do not run properly with me. The upload function doesn't work.
No errors are given, except that it couldn't upload the picture. (which is within the given settings like max kb and wxh)

Information:
PHP Version 5.0.3
System Windows NT 5.2 build 3790
Zend Engine v2.0.3
register_globals On
safe_mode Off
display_errors On

I already informed Marcan, but he doesn't work with php5 that's why he couldn't confirm. So the question stays open if it is the windows server or the php5 version why these modules -the uploading- don't work properly.

I really would like to know before I run over to my webhost complaning about their settings.

Grtz., Shine

Can you upload from other modules/core image manager/avatar upload?

Yes, I am able to upload an avatar. But these go within another directory. (uploads)
Smartmodules however use another directory: images/smartclient(smartpartner)

Is it the incompatibilty with php5 you think?

Hi Shine,

I thought I sent you the new (unreleased) versions of SmartClient and SmartPartner. I must be wrong because the new versions do not use images/smartclient folder but upload/smartclient/.

Uploading directly in the images folder was causing problems... This is why the new version uploads in the upload folder of XOOPS.

Could you tell me what version of SmartClient you are using ?

Thanks !

Hi Marcan,

No, I didn't receive the latest unreleased versions of both modules. Didn't know you wanted to send them

Smartclient vs: 1.0
Smarpartner vs: 1.0

Offcourse I like to receive both newer versions {yeahyeah}
But talking about upload directories......why not create an imagemap-upload right into the smart... module itself? That way you keep the images nicely within the module and they don;t get spread around.

I sent you the links to the newer versions by email.

For many reason, one of them being the recommendation of the man who won 3 awards today !

But basically, all uploaded files should go inside the XOOPS upload folder since it is always CHMOD properly.

Cheers !
